Tour Our Expanded Facility
We recently expanded to 46,000 square feet. In addition to meeting rapidly increasing manufacturing demand, the larger space is part of a three-year growth initiative to offer more services for our clients..
Carbon’s partner development engineer, Jason Lopes, former lead systems engineer for Legacy Effects, was one of the first users of a Carbon printer. Lopes helped create many television and film blockbusters using additive manufacturing, including Avatar, Thor, Terminator Genisys and Terminator Salvation, Iron Man 1, 2 and 3 and others.
After leaving Legacy Effects, Lopes now helps companies leverage additive manufacturing. Lopes was awarded 3D Printing Industry’s Maker of the Year 2017 by the Additive Manufacturing Users Group.
Jason Lopes serves on the SPE Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing board of directors and is the VP and Technical Program Chair for the AM TIG. Jason started as Carbon’s first beta tester of its technology in 2014 as the former lead systems engineer with Legacy Effects. Jason helped create some of the biggest Hollywood blockbusters of all time utilizing additive manufacturing.
